Collaboration with Nancy Hazeltine

The porcelain form was thrown by Nancy Hazeltine, a ceramicist based in Los Angeles, CA. The painted scene is based on photograph captured by Grace of a beloved place (Arch Cape, Oregon). Through the eye of the cape, three figures explore the misty shoreline. The sepia flare that tops the central boulder naturally occurred when the piece was kiln fired.
