DAWN LOTTI, LCSW

I’m Dawn Lotti, a Los Angeles native whose journey has taken me across diverse landscapes, ultimately leading me to the wild beauty of Alaska at the age of 19. For over three decades, I called its rugged splendor home, shaping my life and perspective until I was 52. As a therapist, I weave together a tapestry of innovative methods and heartfelt techniques to guide and uplift those I work with. Art, however, is my soul’s language—a vibrant dance of color, form, and imagination that captures beauty, stirs deep emotions, and sparks wonder in those who pause to see. Whether I’m experimenting with new media or exploring fresh ways to create, my art is a joyful stretch of the mind, an invitation to explore the boundless possibilities of expression.

Field of Flowers and Stream

(Glass on Glass, 21” Diameter)

In my artwork, a luminous 21-inch round glass canvas rests atop a second circular glass base, a harmonious nod to my beloved circular form—a shape that echoes the eternal cycles of nature and spirit. At the heart of this piece flows a shimmering stream, its delicate path carved through the center, flanked by radiant bands of molten gold that catch the light and evoke warmth and vitality. Beyond the gold, a verdant expanse of variegated greens unfolds, transitioning from tender, pale hues to deep, earthy tones toward the edges, embodying the lush progression of life itself. Scattered atop this vibrant green tapestry are translucent colored glass rounds, each a vibrant bloom, their jewel-like presence evoking wildflowers dancing in a sunlit meadow. Through the transparency of glass, I weave the essence of nature with the clarity of my soul, inviting viewers to glimpse the interplay of light, color, and emotion in a delicate balance of strength and fragility.
