JETTA VAN HEMERT, BS in PT

Jetta is a PT, Rosen Bodywork practitioner and Movement teacher with a livelong interest in art and especially painting. She also seems to photograph everything that takes her fancy. About 7 years ago, she decided to carve out a day per week to accompany her friend Patricia to her studio and start painting with oil. She experimented with all kinds of styles and subjects, but especially likes to paint her partner Joe and her little dog Tito .

The puzzle of Venice

This is my friend Patricia, who is looking out over the Grand Canal in Venice. I used an old photograph she had on her fridge. At the same time there is a puzzle of Venice being put together, and quite a difficult one too. It is definitely not finished, and maybe it never will

I really liked the photograph and wanted to bring the two pastimes I shared with her(painting and puzzling) together.
