STACY BERLIN, Psy.D.
Dr. Berlin is a licensed psychologist and a certified psychoanalyst. She has a private practice in Studio City, California and is a faculty member at the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis in Los Angeles, where she conducts courses in Relational Theory. She is integrative and works from within a safe relational framework. She works in a collaborative and interactive manner and is egalitarian and contextualist in her approach to psychoanalytic theory and practice. She emphasizes developmental relational traumatic self-states, creative openings, play and humor.
Dr. Berlin has been a self-taught surreal and or portrait painter. She painted self-portraits and loved ones to gain access to her own missing self-states and her internal objects. Since Covid induced connections to the greater world, she paints political pieces to connect with Others.
