Having worked in different settings and cultures, I've come to see therapy as a relationship embedded in particular contexts and needs, and that introduces someone new to walk with you, guide and support your voyage during a challenging time. As an art therapist, marital and family therapist, educator, I wholeheartedly believe in creativity as the human ability to soar despite very harsh blows. I try to learn, daily, about life and see our communication as central to that intention. I strive to be present, authentic, thoughtful and kind in my interactions.
Journey to 78 (tribute for my father)

Large, layered, multifocal and colorful... thus is a journey of many things, impacting many lives, in all ways possible. It is submitted here with love and deep appreciation for all that my father taught me: about art, love, and life, as well as the complexity and turmoil that comes with a journey of 78 years, 3 wives, 4 daughters, and then so many pieces within and between.
